സിസ്റ്റർ സാറാമ്മ ജോൺ അന്തരിച്ചു

Sister Saramma John (76), one of the senior sisters of Bethel Ashram under the Madhya Kerala Diocese, entered into eternal rest in the Lord.
A native of Kadappor parish in the Ettumanoor Clergy District, Sister Saramma dedicated her life to serve at Bethel Ashram in 1971. In 1972, she began her missionary service in Parakkal Mission field, where she faithfully ministered for an admirable span of 46 years, until her retirement in 2018. Returning to Bethel Ashram for her retired life, she remained actively involved in all the services of the ashram, continuing to be a vibrant presence in the community.
She had been experiencing health-related fatigue over the past two weeks. Sister Saramma, the youngest among four sisters, was also the maternal sister of Rev. K. M. John.
The mortal remains will be placed for public viewing at Bethel Ashram on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM. The funeral service will be officiated by The Rt. Rev. Thomas Samuel, former Bishop of the Madhya Kerala Diocese, at 5:00 PM at Bethel Ashram Chapel.

മധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമത്തിലെ സീനിയർ സിസ്റ്റർമാരിൽ ഒരാളായിരുന്ന സിസ്റ്റർ സാറാമ്മ ജോൺ (76) കർത്താവിൽ നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ചു. ഏറ്റുമാനൂർ വൈദിക ജില്ലയിൽ കടപ്പൂർ സഭാംഗമായ സിസ്റ്റർ സാറാമ്മ 1971 ലാണ് ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമത്തിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കായി തൻ്റെ ജീവിതം സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. 1972 ൽ പറക്കാൽ മിഷനറി ആയി പോവുകയും, നീണ്ട 46 വർഷക്കാലം, 2018 വരെ സ്തുത്യർഹമായ സേവനം കാഴ്ചവെക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. വിശ്രമ ജീവിതത്തിനായി ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമത്തിലേക്ക് വന്ന സിസ്റ്റർ സാറാമ്മ ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ശുശ്രൂഷകളിലും സജീവ സാന്നിധ്യമായിരുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടാഴ്ചയായി ആരോഗ്യപരമായ ക്ഷീണം അനുഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു. 4 സഹോദരിമാരിൽ ഇളയ ആളായ സിസ്റ്റർ സാറാമ്മ റവ. K M ജോണിൻ്റെ മാതൃസഹോദരിയാണ്.
നാളെ (04.05.2025) ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 1 മണിക്ക് ഭൗതികശരീരം ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമത്തിൽ പൊതുദർശനത്തിന് വയ്ക്കുന്നതാണ്. മധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക മുൻ അധ്യക്ഷൻ അഭിവന്ദ്യ തോമസ് സാമുവൽ ബിഷപ്പ് ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമം ചാപ്പലിൽ 5pm നു ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ശവസംസ്കാര ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് മുഖ്യ കാർമികത്വം വഹിക്കുന്നതാണ്.
ദുഃഖത്തിൽ ആയിരിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെയും ബഥേൽ ആശ്രമം കുടുംബത്തെയും ഓർത്ത് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാം.
