"ബിഷപ്പ് മൂർ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ മൂല്യം ഉയർത്തി പിടിക്കണം": സുവർണ്ണ ജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ സമാപന സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ ബിഷപ്പ് റൈറ്റ് റവ. ഡോ. മലയിൽ സാബു കോശി ചെറിയാൻ
ബിഷപ്പ് മൂർ വിദ്യാപീഠിൽ സുവർണ്ണ ജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ സമാപന സമ്മേളനം വിപുലമായി നടത്തി. രാവിലെ നടന്ന സ്തോത്ര ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ റൈറ്റ് റവ.തോമസ് സാമുവൽ, റവ. ഇട്ടി മാത്യു ,റവ. ഡോ. കുരുവിള ജോർജ്, മാനേജർ പ്രൊഫസർ ജോസഫ് തോമസ്, പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോക്ടർ സാം റ്റി. കുരുവിള, ഹയർസെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂൾ പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ശ്രീമതി ആലിസ് ജോൺ, വൈസ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ശ്രീമതി സീന സൂസൻ സാം എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ചടങ്ങിൽ മുൻ ഡിജിപി അലക്സാണ്ടർ ജേക്കബ് മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. തുടർന്ന് മികച്ച വിജയം കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയ കുട്ടികൾക്കുള്ള അവാർഡ് ദാന ചടങ്ങും നടന്നു.
11 മണിക്ക് നടന്ന പൊതുസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ സിഎസ്ഐ മദ്ധ്യ കേരള മഹായിടവക ബിഷപ്പ് റൈറ്റ് റവ. ഡോ. മലയിൽ സാബു കോശി ചെറിയാൻ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. അധ്യക്ഷ പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ "അധ്യാപകർക്കും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും തങ്ങളുടെ സമ്മർദ്ദങ്ങളെ അതിജീവിക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കണം" എന്നും "അധ്യാപകർ തങ്ങളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷയിലൂടെയും വിദ്യാർഥികൾ തങ്ങളുടെ പഠനത്തിലൂടെയും മികവ് തെളിയിക്കണം" എന്നും ഓർമ്മിപ്പിച്ച അധ്യക്ഷൻ, ബിഷപ്പ് മൂർ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ മൂല്യം ഉയർത്തി പിടിക്കണം എന്ന് ആഹ്വാനവും നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു. ചടങ്ങിൽ മാവേലിക്കര എം. എൽ. എ. ശ്രീ അരുൺ കുമാർ, കയർ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ ഡയറക്ടറും ഇൻഡസ്ട്രീസ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെൻറ് സ്പെഷ്യൽ ഓഫീസറും കെ ടി ഡി എഫ് സി ചെയർപേഴ്സനും ആയ ശ്രീമതി ആനി ജൂലാ തോമസ് ഐ. എ. എസ്., സഭാ മേലധ്യക്ഷന്മാർ, മാവേലിക്കര നഗരസഭ അധ്യക്ഷൻ ശ്രീ നൈനാൻ സി കുറ്റിശേരിൽ, വാർഡ് മെമ്പർ ശ്രീമതി സിന്ധു ബിനു , ഗവേണിംഗ് കൗൺസിൽ അംഗങ്ങൾ ,സാമൂഹ്യ രംഗത്തെ പ്രമുഖർ എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുക്കുകയും ആശംസകൾ അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ചടങ്ങിൽ 50 വർഷം പിന്നിടുന്ന ബിഷപ്പ്മൂർ വിദ്യാപീഠത്തിന്റെ പാരമ്പര്യ സ്മരണകൾ കോർത്തിണക്കിയ സുവനീർ പ്രകാശനവും ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി പ്രദർശനവും നടന്നു. ഒരു വർഷം നീണ്ടു നിന്ന സുവർണ്ണ ജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ സമാപനമാണ് നടന്നത്.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Bishop Moore Vidyapeeth concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony. The day began with a thanksgiving service led by Rt. Rev. Thomas Samuel, Rev. Itty Mathew, Rev. Dr. Kuruvilla George, Manager Prof. Joseph Thomas, Principal Dr. Sam T. Kuruvilla, Higher Secondary School Principal Mrs. Alice John, and Vice Principal Mrs. Seena Susan Sam.
Former DGP Mr. Alexander Jacob delivered the keynote address, following which meritorious students were honored with awards for their outstanding achievements.
The public meeting held at 11 a.m. was presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshi Cherian, Bishop of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese. In his presidential address, the Bishop emphasized that “teachers and students must be able to withstand pressures” and that “teachers must show excellence through their service and students through their studies.” He urged everyone to uphold the enduring values of the Bishop Moore institutions.
The event was graced by the presence of Mavelikara MLA Mr. Arun Kumar; Mrs. Annie Joola Thomas IAS, Chairperson of KTDFC, Director of Coir Corporation, and Special Officer, Department of Industries; church leaders; Mavelikara Municipal Chairperson Mr. Nainan C. Kuttisheril; ward member Mrs. Sindhu Binu; members of the governing council; and other prominent personalities from the social sphere, all of whom extended their greetings.
As part of the function, a souvenir capturing the rich legacy of Bishop Moore Vidyapeeth was released, and a documentary was also screened. The ceremony marked the conclusion of a year-long series of Golden Jubilee celebrations.
