Katrapally Mission
CSI Katrapally Mission
The CSI Katrapally Mission was established on 22nd September 2017 by bifurcating the CSI Parkal Mission. Katrapally village holds a prominent place in the mission’s history, as it was here that the Parkal Mission was born in 1924 through the pioneering efforts of Rev. K. E. Eapen.
As the Parkal Mission moves toward its centenary year, this is a crucial time to revive and strengthen the mission activities in and around Katrapally. The village remains largely undeveloped and rural, with inadequate transportation and communication facilities, as well as limited social and infrastructural progress.
With the establishment of this new mission, our vision is to revive and bring the village into the mainstream — spiritually, socially, culturally, and economically.
Currently, three major areas of work are being carried out here:
- Evangelism
- Education
- Self-employment Training
