171st Mahatma Habel Day Celebration and Essay Writing Competition
The 171st Mahatma Habel Day celebration will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Kaippatta, beginning with the Holy Communion service.
The celebration will be led by The Rt. Rev. Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian, Bishop, along with other official dignitaries. A public meeting will be held at 11:00 AM, followed by a student gathering at 2:00 PM, and cultural programs at 4:00 PM.
Essay Writing Competition
In connection with Mahatma Habel Day, an essay writing competition is being conducted.
Topic: "The Contemporary Relevance of the Habel Incident"
Guideline: Analyze in the context of today's social, political, and ecclesiastical situation.
Cash awards will be given to the winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes.
Essays should be submitted on or before August 25, 2025, to the following address:
