Madhya Kerala Diocesan Women’s Fellowship Conducts Divya Bodhini Graduation Ceremony
05 Jan 2023The graduation ceremony of the Divya Bodhini Study Class was held at Bishop Jacob Memorial Hall, Kottayam under the auspices of Madhya Kerala Diocesan Women’s Fellowship. Women's Fellowship President Dr Jessy Sarah Koshy Kochamma presided over the meeting. Diocesan Bishop Rt Rev. Dr Sabu Koshy Cherian delivered the keynote address.
Jessy Kochamma called for implementing the lessons learned by the students in various areas of life. The bishop said that in addition to deep and wide reading, efforts should be made to improve Bible study and realize one's own abilities.
The Bishop distributed certificates to the students. Thirty women graduated in the current year from the one-year course of Divya Bodhini, which is meant for the study of the Bible.
Mrs Dolly Johny, Secretary of Diocesan Women’s Fellowship delivered the welcome address. Mrs Sophia Shine Mathew, Convener of the Divya Bodhini Programme presented the activity report and introduced the learners to the audience.
Rev. Jenu John and Sister Jesseena P. Joseph addressed the audience as representatives of the faculty. As student representatives, Mrs. Jolly Jose and Mary Shirley Jacob shared their experiences. All the students jointly performed a song and a skit.
Mrs Lincy Joseph, the Joint Secretary, Women’s Fellowship, offered the opening prayer. Eva. Sherryl Jose led the prayer of dedication.
Diocesan Registrar Mr. Phillip M. Varghese gave his felicitation speech. Mrs Sheelamma Jacob gave the vote of thanks. Diocesan Clergy Secretary Rev. Nelson Chacko offered the closing prayer. The graduation ceremony ended with the benediction of the bishop.
