Marking the Completion of 70 Years – Chittar Benjaminpara CSI St. John’s Church

Chittar Benjaminpara CSI St. John’s Church, established in 1956 situated in the Kumbalampoika Clergy District, inaugurated its Platinum Jubilee in a grand manner. The United Christian Fellowship of Chittar received Bishop with warmth and gratitude. As part of the Jubilee celebrations, a thanksgiving service and confirmation service were conducted, led by the Bishop of the Madhya Kerala Diocese, the Right Reverend Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian. Through the confirmation service, five candidates were received into full membership of the Church. Rev. Sojee Vergis John, Rev. Paul P Mathew, Rev. Happy Abraham, Rev. Abraham T John, Rev. Sherry Varghese and Rev. C. K. Kochumon also took part in the service.
Following the worship service, the Platinum Jubilee inaugural meeting was held, presided over by Rev. Soji Varghese John, the District Chairman. The meeting was inaugurated by the Right Reverend Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian. Adv. Jineesh Kumar, MLA of the Konni constituency, inaugurated the Platinum Projects during the event. Leaders from various political, social, and religious spheres participated in the gathering.
The Chittar congregation has designed the Platinum Jubilee projects as year-long initiatives aimed at the welfare of both the Church and the local community. Special appreciation is due to the Vicar, Rev. Abraham T. John, the church committee members, and the congregation for their dedicated leadership and tireless efforts in making the celebrations a success.

കുമ്പളാംപൊയ്ക വൈദീക ജില്ലയിൽ 1956 -ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ചിറ്റാർ ബെഞ്ചമിൻപാറ സി എസ് ഐ സെന്റ് ജോൺസ് ഇടവകയുടെ പ്ലാറ്റിനം ജൂബിലി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. യുണൈറ്റഡ് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ ഫെല്ലോഷിപ്പ് ബിഷപ്പിന് സ്വീകരണം നൽകി. ജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി നടത്തപ്പെട്ട സ്തോത്ര ശുശ്രുഷയ്ക്കും, അനുബന്ധമായി നടത്തപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥിരീകരണ ശുശ്രുഷകൾക്കും മദ്ധ്യ കേരള മഹായിടവക അധ്യക്ഷൻ ബിഷപ്പ് റൈറ്റ് റവ. ഡോ. മലയിൽ സാബു ക ോശി ചെറിയാൻ മുഖ്യ കാർമികത്വം വഹിച്ചു. അഞ്ച് സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികൾ സ്ഥിരീകരണ ശുശ്രുഷയിലൂടെ സഭയുടെ പൂർണ്ണ അംഗത്വത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചു. റവ. സോജി വർഗിസ് ജോൺ, റവ. പോൾ പി മാത്യു, റവ. ഹാപ്പി എബ്രഹാം, റവ. എബ്രഹാം T ജോൺ, റവ. ഷെറി വർഗീസ്, റവ. സി. കെ. കൊച്ചുമോൻ എന്നിവർ ശുശ്രുഷയ്ക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
ആരാധനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം പ്ലാറ്റിനം ജൂബിലി ഉദ്ഘാടന സമ്മേളനം നടത്തപ്പെടുകയും അഗ്രാസനാധിപൻ റവ. സോജി വർഗീസ് ജോൺ യോഗത്തിൽ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അഭിവന്ദ്യ റൈറ്റ് റവ. ഡോ. മലയിൽ സാബു കോശി ചെറിയാൻ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ച യോഗത്തിൽ കോന്നി നിയോജക മണ്ഡലം എം. എൽ. എ. അഡ്വ. ജിനീഷ് കുമാർ പ്ലാറ്റിനം പ്രൊജെക്ടുകൾ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. വിവിധ രാഷ്ട്രീയവും, സാമൂഹികവും, മതപരമായ വിഭാഗത്തിലെ നേതാക്കൾ പ്രസ്തുത യോഗത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഒരു വർഷം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന സഭയുടെയും നാടിന്റെയും നന്മയെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ള പ്ലാറ്റിനം ജൂബിലി പദ്ധതികൾക്കാണ് ചിറ്റാർ സഭ രൂപകൽപന ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്. എല്ലാ ശുശ്രുഷകൾക്കും ആവശ്യമായ എല്ലാ നേതൃത്വവും നൽകിയ ഇടവകപട്ടക്കാരൻ റവ. എബ്രഹാം റ്റി ജോൺ, ചർച്ച് കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങൾ, സഭാ ജനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവരുടെ കഠിനാധ്വാനം പ്രത്യേക അഭിനന്ദനം അർഹിക്കുന്നു.
