Ettumanoor District Youth Movement’s “Reel Competition” Receives Remarkable Response

ഏറ്റുമാനൂർ വൈദിക ജില്ലാ യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനം നടത്തിയ 'റീൽ' മത്സരത്തിന് മികച്ച പ്രതികരണം
ഏറ്റുമാനൂർ വൈദിക ജില്ലാ യുവജന പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ മീഡിയ മേഘലകളിൽ പ്രാവീണ്യവും താല്പര്യവുമുള്ളവരെ കണ്ടെത്തുവാൻ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച റീൽ കോമ്പറ ്റിഷൻ വരിക്കാംകുന്ന് സെന്റ് ലൂക്ക്സ് സി.എസ്.ഐ ചർച്ച് പാരിഷ് ഹാളിൽ നടത്തി. വരിക്കാംകുന്ന് ഇടവക വികാരി റവ. ജെസ് മാത്യു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ച് ആരംഭിച്ച പ്രസ്തുത പരിപാടിക്ക്, ജില്ലാ യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനം സെക്രട്ടറി ബിബിൻ കെ. സാം സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിക്കുകയും, ജില്ലാ ചെയർമാൻ റവ. ജേക്കബ് ജോൺസൻ അച്ചൻ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
മത്സരത്തിലേക്ക് 8 റീൽ വീഡിയോ എൻട്രികൾ ലഭിച്ചു, ചുരുങ്ങിയ സമയത്തിനുള്ളിൽ റീലുകൾ തയ്യാറാക്കി സധൈര്യം മുന്നോട്ട് വന്ന ജില്ലയിലെ യൂണിറ്റുകളെ പ്രത്യേകം അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
പിറവം, വരിക്കാംകുന്ന്, കട്ടമ്പാക്ക് & ഏറ്റുമാനൂർ എന്നീ യൂണിറ്റുകൾക്ക് യഥാക്രമം ഒന്ന്, രണ്ട്, മൂന്ന് സ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചു. കൂടാതെ മറ്റ് ഇനങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ള സമ്മാനങ്ങളും നൽകി : മികച്ച സംവിധായകൻ ആഷിക്ക് സന്തോഷ്
മികച്ച ക്യാമറ ജിത്തു ജോൺ, മികച്ച എഡിറ്റിംഗ് ആഷിക്ക് സന്തോഷ്, മികച്ച നടൻ ക്രിസ്റ്റി തമ്പി. അതോടൊപ്പം മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത എല്ലാ യൂണിറ്റുകൾക്കുമുള്ള സമ്മാനങ്ങളും വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.
ഈ മത്സരത്തിന്റെ വിധി നിർണയത്തിനായി കടന്നുവന്നത് കുഴിക്കാല സി.എം.എസ് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ ഹെഡ്മാസ്റ്റർ ഷിബു ജോയി സർ (കായംകുളം) ആയിരുന്നു. മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള നമ്മുടെ തലമുറയ്ക്ക് ഇത്തരം മേഖലകളിൽ എങ്ങനെ മുന്നേറാം എന്ന ലഘു ക്ലാസ്സ് ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള സാറിന്റെ ജഡ്ജ്മെന്റ് വളരെ പ്രാധാന്യം അർഹിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു. ജില്ലാ ഓർഗനൈസിങ് സെക്രെട്ടറി പ്രിയ റിജിൻ നന്ദി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനം ജില്ലാ കൺവീനർ റവ.ജസ്റ്റിൻ തമ്പി, വടകര ഇടവക വികാരി റവ. സാം ജോർജ് എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
The Reel Competition organized by the Ettumanoor District Youth Movement, aimed at discovering talents with skill and passion in media, was held at Varrikankunnu St. Luke’s CSI Church Parish Hall. The event began with a prayer by the parish vicar, Rev. Jess Mathew. District Youth Movement Secretary, Mr. Bibin K. Sam, extended the words of welcome, and District Chairman, Rev. Jacob Johnson, officially inaugurated the program.
A total of 8 reels were submitted for the competition. The district units that came forward confidently and prepared their reels within the short time frame were especially appreciated.
Piravom, Varrikankunnu, Kattampakk and Ettumanoor units secured the first, second, and third positions respectively. In addition, special awards were presented in other categories:
Best Director – Ashik Santosh
Best Camera – Jithu John
Best Editing – Ashik Santosh
Best Actor – Christy Thampy
Participation prizes were also distributed to all the competing units.
The judging panel was graced by Mr. Shibu Joy, Headmaster of Kuzhikkala CMS High School (Kayamkulam). His judgment, enriched with a short yet insightful session on how the younger generation can advance in such fields, was highly appreciated.
District Organizing Secretary Ms. Priya Rigin delivered the vote of thanks. District Convener Rev. Justin Thampi and Vadakara Parish Vicar Rev. Sam George were also present at the event.
