Farewell to the Rev. Sunil Raj Philip, Former Manager, CMS Press, and Former Director, MKD Communication Department

Rev. Sunil Raj Philip, who served as Manager of the CMS Press and the first Director of the CSI MKD Communication Department, during 2021 - 2023, has relocated to the UAE as the Vicar of the CSI Malayalam Parish, Sharjah.
Achan's tireless efforts resulted in our Diocese's new website and the development of related mobile apps for Android and iPhone. Among his other accomplishments during his tenure are a Perfect Binding Machine worth Rs 7.5 lakh, sponsored by the Sharjah Parish, a printing machine worth Rs 1.5 lakh, new computers, an intercom system, biometric punching to record staff attendance, a remodelled office, and revamped C. C. T. V. systems. It is worth noting that the turnover in the fiscal year in which Achan is transferred is more than double that of the year immediately preceding Achan's appointment.
A decade of his experience as the Executive Secretary of the National Council of Churches in India and the Director of the Communications Department of the CSI Synod has aided Achen in making his tenure productive and profitable.
Rev. Sunil Raj Philip and his family were given a send-off by the Diocese and the C. M. S. Press, during which, Bishop Right Rev. Dr Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian applauded Achan's service and congratulated the new Press Manager Rev. Dr. Shajan A. Idiculla and the new Communications Director Rev. Viji Varghese Eapen.
സി. എം. എസ്. പ്രസ് മാനേജരായും സി. എസ്. ഐ. മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻസ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റിന്റെ പ്രഥമ ഡയറക്ടറായും 2021 - 2023 കാലയളവിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ച റവ. സുനിൽ രാജ് ഫിലിപ്പ് കാലാവധി പൂർത്തിയാക്കി മഹായിടവകയുടെ ക്രമീകരണം അനുസരിച്ച് ഷാർജാ സി. എസ്. ഐ. ഇടവകയിലേക്ക് സ്ഥലംമാറിപോയി. സി. എം. എസ്. പ്രസിൻറെ പുതിയ മാനേജരായി മഹായിടവക ട്രഷറർ കൂടിയായ റവ. ഡോ. എ. ഷാജൻ ഇടിക്കുളയും കമ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻസ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് ഡയറക്ടറായി കാരിക്കുഴി സി. എസ്. ഐ. ഇടവക വികാരിയായ റവ. വിജി വർഗീസ് ഈപ്പനും ചുമതലയേറ്റു.
റവ. സുനിൽ രാജ് ഫിലിപ്പിന്റെ സേവന കാലയളവിലെ അർപ്പണബോധവും കഠിനാധ്വാനവും പ്രസ്സിനെയും കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻസ് വിഭാഗത്തെയും മുൻപോട്ടു നയിക്കുന്നതിൽ വളരെ വലിയ പങ്ക് വഹിച്ചു. മഹായിടവകയുടെ പുതിയ വെബ്സൈറ്റ്, ആൻഡ്രോയിഡിനും ഐഫോണിനുമുള്ള മഹായിടവക മൊബൈൽ ആപ്പുകളുടെ വികസനം എന്നിവ അച്ചൻറെ അശ്രാന്ത പരിശ്രമത്തിൻറെ ഫലമാണ്. പ്രസ്സിനു വേണ്ടി ഷാർജ ഇടവകയുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ വാങ്ങിയ 7.5 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ പെർഫെക്ട് ബൈൻഡിങ് മെഷീനും 1 .5 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ പ്രിൻറിംഗ് മെഷീനും, പുതിയ കംപ്യൂട്ടറുകൾ, ഇൻറെർകോം സംവിധാനം, ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ഹാജർ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുവാനുള്ള ബയോമെട്രിക് പഞ്ചിംഗ്, നവീകരിച്ച ഓഫിസും സി. സി. ടി. വി. സംവിധാനവും മുതലായവ അച്ചൻ്റെ സേവനകാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ നേട്ടങ്ങളിൽ ചിലതുമാത്രമാണ്. അച്ചൻ ചാർജെടുത്തതിൻ്റെ തൊട്ടുമുൻവർഷത്തെ ടേണോവറിൻ്റെ ഇരട്ടിയിലധികമാണ് അച്ചൻ ട്രാൻസ്ഫറായി പോകുന്ന സാമ്പത്തിക വർഷത്തിലെ ടേണോവർ എന്നത് എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ടതാണ്. നാഷണൽ കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ് ചർച്ചസ് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ എക്സിക്യുട്ടിവ് സെക്രട്ടറിയായും സി.എസ്.ഐ. സിനഡിൻ്റെ കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻ ഡയറക്ടറായും ഒരു ദശാബ്ദം അച്ചൻ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച സേവനത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള അനുഭവസമ്പത്ത് മഹായിടവകയ്ക്കും ഗുണകരമായി ഭവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
സേവന കാലാവധി പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ റവ. സുനിൽ രാജ് ഫിലിപ്പിനും കുടുംബത്തിനും മഹായിടവകയും സി. എം. എസ്. പ്രസും സംയുക്തമായി യാത്രയയപ്പ് സമ്മേളനം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രസ്തുത മീറ്റിംഗിൽ ബിഷപ്പ് റൈറ്റ് റവ. ഡോ. മലയിൽ സാബു കോശി ചെറിയാൻ, അച്ചൻ്റെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുകയും പുതിയതായി ചുമതലകൾ ഏറ്റവർക്ക് ആശംസകൾ അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
