Construction of the New Spirituality and Guidance Centre at Kannigapuram in Vellore Gets Underway
The construction of the new Bethzatha Spirituality and Guidance Centre at Kannigapuram in Vellore gets underway. The Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian laid off the foundation stone in a solemn worship service held at the newly purchased land at Kannigapuram.
The new centre, which is expected to be functional within a year, is located hardly 750 meters from the Ranipet Campus of CMC (Christian Medical College), Vellore, which was open in June 2022. The three-story building of the new Bethzatha Centre will have a parking area on the ground floor and 28 rooms on the other stories with facilities for the patients and bystanders. Bishop Sabu Koshy Cherian requested the prayerful support of everyone for this project which will be a great solace for those who come to CMS Vellore for treatment.
The Diocesan Office Berarers, Presbyters, Diocesan members who are part of the Christian Medical College, the students in the Christian Medical College from our Diocese, Representatives of CSI Vellore Diocese, Presbyters from the Malayalam Parishes in Chennai, and Rev. Vijay Thomas Joseph, the In-Charge of the Bethzatha Spirituality & Guidance Centre, were present in the occasion.
വെല്ലൂർ കന്നികാപുരത്ത് സി.എസ്.ഐ. മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക പുതുതായി വാങ്ങിയ സ്ഥലത്തു ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ഗൈഡൻസ് സെന്ററിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണപ്രവർത്തനത്തിന് മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക ബിഷപ് അഭിവന്ദ്യ മലയിൽ സാബു കോശി ചെറിയാൻ തറക്കല്ലിട്ടു.
വെല്ലൂർ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിന്റെ പുതിയ സ്പെഷ്യലിറ്റി കെട്ടിടത്തിൽനിന്നും 750 മീറ്റർ മാത്രം അകലെ ആണ് മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക പുതിയ ഗൈഡൻസ് സെന്റർ നിർമ്മിക്കുവാൻ വാങ്ങിയ സ്ഥലം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. മൂന്നു നിലകളിലായി പണികഴിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ ഗ്രൗണ്ട് ഫ്ലോറിൽ പാർക്കിങ്ങും, രണ്ട് നിലകളിലായി രോഗികൾക്ക് 28 മുറികൾ പണിയുന്നതിനും ശ്രമി ക്കുന്നു. അടുത്ത വർഷം നിർമ്മാണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു, പുതിയ സെന്റർ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കണം എന്ന് മഹായിടവക ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിനായി എല്ലാവരുടെയും പ്രാർത്ഥനയും, പിന്തുണയും ബിഷപ് അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ചു.
ശിലാസ്ഥാപന ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ മഹായിടവക ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാരവാഹികൾ, വെല്ലൂർ മഹായിടവക പ്രതിനിധികൾ, ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ നമ്മുടെ സഭാംഗങ്ങൾ, വെല്ലൂർ ബെത്സയ്ത ഗൈഡൻസ് സെന്റർ ഇൻ ചാർജ് റവ. വിജോ തോമസ് ജോസഫ്, ചെന്നൈ ഇടവകകളിലെ വൈദികർ, തുടങ്ങിയവർ സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു.
