CMS Higher Secondary School, Kuzhikala

The Church Missionary Society (CMS) Higher Secondary School Kuzhikala, is a Corporate Management aided school, managed by Madhya Kerala Diocese of Church of South India.

The school was established in 1854, as a Malayalam L P school along with the Elanthoor CMS church at Pariyaram, by the visionary Rev. Joseph Peet of the Church Missionary Society. The school was shifted to Kuzhikala soon and upgraded to English Grammar School in 1886 and High School in 1948. In 2000 it was raised to the status of a higher secondary school with science and commerce batches.

The well-equipped school is situated at Kuzhikala, a village blessed with profuse natural beauty and calm in Pathanamthitta District. It is 6 km from Kozhencherry, 12 km from Pathanamthitta and 14 Km from Pandalam.
