Duties of the Board

(a) To carry on the Sunday school work in Diocese in an orderly manner by arranging conferences of Sunday school workers and publishing textbooks.

(b) Help to promote evangelism among the children of the parish.

(c) Recommend to the Bishop three persons to represent the diocese on the Committee of the Children's Ministry.

(d) Prepare and submit to the Board of Finance an annual budget of the amount necessary for the functioning of the Board.

Bishop Speechly Vidyapeeth, Pallom

Bishop Speechly Vidyapeeth is located in a beautiful village in Pallom 6 km south of Kottayam. The school came into being in 1993 with a mission to ensure quality education to all. The school is a dream came true for people of Pallom and surrounding areas. The school provides healthy environment for the intellectual, physical and spiritual development of the children both boys and girls in to the age group of 3- 15 years. The school has classes from L K G to Std. X.

The school is named after the first bishop of the C.S.I. Madhya Kerala Diocese Rt. Rev. John M. Speechly.
